Die Anlage wird vom Reiseveranstalter Transturin betrieben, der u.a. Touren mit einem Katamaran zur Insel anbietet. Im Komplex ist ein kleines Museum, das "Ekako Underground Museum", die "Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces", der "Manco Kapac lookout" mit Blick auf die größte Vielfalt der "Andean camelids" und vieles mehr. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen, sich auf den Ausflug zur Insel vorzubereiten. Der Titicacasee liegt auf einer Höhe von 3812 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Um den Complex zu erreichen muss man zu Fuß noch einige Höhenmeter bis zu ca. 4000m Höhe überwinden, was auf steilen Wegen zurückgelegt werden muss. Empfindliche und höhenunerfahrene Touristen können da schon Probleme mit der Atemluft oder gar Höhenkranklheit bekommen.
