CITY TOUR IN SUCRE

OUTLINE: MAIN SQUARE MAY 25TH / FREEDOM HOUSE MUSEUM / TREASURE MUSEUM / ASUR TEXTILE MUSEUM / LA RECOLETA VIEWPOINT
Pick up from hotel and start of the tour of the capital city of Bolivia, Sucre, as the first attraction you will visit the Main Square May 25, where the Historical Museum of Liberty is located; Historical place where the Bolivian independence act was signed, in addition to housing many medals, titles, paintings and patriotic symbols that are part of the material treasure of the nation. The main square of Sucre also houses the Metropolitan Cathedral on one of its sides. The next attraction to visit will be the Treasure Museum, which shows the origins, techniques, and art of Bolivian metals and precious stones. The purpose of the museum is to inform and educate, but, above all, to awaken genuine and pleasant feelings in the visitor, then you will visit the Asur Textile Museum, or Museum of Indigenous Art that exhibits a great variety of textiles from indigenous cultures from all around Sucre. Leaving the museums, you will go to the La Recoleta, with a church also, but the main attraction is the viewpoint square and its wonderful view of Sucre, its square it’s a meeting point of its population.
The next visit will be the churches of San Lázaro and Santo Domingo, these churches are characterized by being built since the founding of the city, that is, in the seventeenth century; Another particular attraction is the Bolivia Park, ordered to be built by the last president of the Real Audiencia de Charcas, in another of the historical phases of this magical white city.
